IToris is a company developing items to be used with Joomla!. They have created several components that will make the administrators life a little easier. One of the items that we are currently using is the Smart Former 2.1, which is a form creator for Joomla! As a non-profit, we use many forms on our websites and needed to find an easier way to create them and we found Smart Former. There are many form creators out there for Joomla! and we have tried several. Some are very difficult to use while others don't provide many options, but Smart Former has to be the easiest and most complete form creator that we have found. It has been update to work with both Joomla! 1.0.x and 1.5 versions. Smart Former is a what you see is what you get, WYSIWYG, Form Manager. It is very user friendly with most all functions being drag and drop. It works in both Internet Explorer and Firefox for creating your forms and provides for an unbelievable amount of options. If you have every tried to create forms in a very quick manner, or need to, this is the way to do it. IToris form generator is very usable, you need only to drag'n'drop the element you wish and choose its properties. Grid will help you aligning the dragged elements visually with no problem; you'll be able to create a new menu item form within the form builder and check the form's logic before posting it. Now you do not need any special knowledge - just 10 minutes of free time and wish to create a new form for your Joomla! site. |
